Are Windgoos with a throttle legal?

Windgoo models with a throttle are not permitted on Dutch public roads. We only sell models that only have pedal assist , so they don't have a throttle.

Is it possible to add a throttle after all?

No, this is not possible.

My B20 has a throttle, but it doesn't work. How is this possible?

That's right, all our bicycles are equipped with pedal assistance only.

My bike doesn't support the pedals, or not enough. How is this possible?

The support level in your Windgoo Smart App may be set too low. Easily adjust this level in the app to a higher support level, and you'll immediately notice the difference.

Where can I view and/or test-drive a Windgoo?

You can book a test ride at the stores in Amsterdam, Rotterdam, or Hoofddorp here. You can also find a list of affiliated dealers near you on the website https://www.windgoofun.com/ . Contact them to inquire if the model you're looking for is in stock.

Is a Windgoo waterproof?

The product specifications of the Windgoo models show the waterproof rating for each product.

Does cold temperatures affect my Windgoo's battery?

Cold affects the battery. Charging takes longer and the battery delivers less power than usual. If your Windgoo has a removable battery, store it indoors if you store your e-bike outside in cold weather. Also, don't charge your e-bike battery outside or in a cold shed. The battery's range is greater when it's not cold before use.

Tip: Also store your Windgoo charger in a dry place (5 - 25 degrees).

Why am I not reaching the indicated speed?

The 25 km/h speed was tested under ideal conditions. The maximum speed depends on factors such as temperature, tire pressure, support level, riding style, etc.

Smart App

How do I connect my Windgoo to the app?

First check if your Windgoo has the app function.

In general, all you need to do is empty the bike battery, put it on the charger, turn it on and reconnect the app.

I acquired the Windgoo second hand and cannot connect it to the Windgoo.

Only one device can be paired with a Windgoo. Make sure the previous device is completely disconnected before pairing a new one. To do this, open the Windgoo Smart App, click the right tab, and remove the phone.

What warranty do I have on my Windgoo - purchased through a dealer?

To claim under warranty, please consult the seller.

I want to register my Windgoo for repair, how does this work?

Register your Windgoo via the warranty form on the website: https://www.windgoofun.com/pages/reparatie-formulier .
The service center will then contact you about the repair of your bicycle.

I want to return my Windgoo, how does this work?

To return your Windgoo, please contact the seller. If you placed your order through windgoofun.com, you can register your return using the returns form .

Please note! You can only return your Windgoo if it's in its original condition. That is, the same condition you received it. So, unused and in the original packaging. You'll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. You can read all about this in our returns policy.

What is the status of my return/repair?

If I return my bike, what are the shipping costs?

At Windgoo, we strive to provide accurate product descriptions and specifications so our customers can make informed choices. However, we understand that sometimes a product doesn't meet expectations due to personal preferences.

Eligibility: The product must be returned in its original condition, unused and in its original packaging.

Return Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs and any additional fees for exchanging or reshipping a new product.

Exchange costs: Any price difference between the exchanged items and the shipping costs will be borne by the customer.

Payment

Can you also pay for an order afterwards?

It's not possible to pay for your order later. You can only pay for online orders in installments with in3 and spraypay.

Can I receive an invoice for my order?

The online order confirmation email contains the inovice information. For more information, please contact contact@windgoofun.com .

What are the shipping costs?

Windgoo bikes are delivered free of charge within the Netherlands.

For orders under €50, a €12 shipping fee will be charged.

For deliveries to other European countries, shipping costs are calculated based on the location of the order.

Can I also pick up my order?

Yes, you can choose from stores. Orders are also delivered to your home. You can also order a Windgoo through a dealer near you. You can then pick up your Windgoo there. Visit https://www.windgoofun.com/pages/windgoo-winkels for stores and dealers near you.

What is the delivery time of my order?

We do our utmost to deliver your order as quickly as possible.

Do I need a driver's license?

No, you do not need a driver's license to drive the Windgoo.

From what age can I ride a Windgoo?

There's no minimum age, but there is a minimum height. You can see this in the product specifications for each product.

Do I have to wear a helmet on a Windgoo?

In the Netherlands, there's no helmet requirement for e-bikes. However, it's always a good idea to take your road safety seriously and wear a helmet.

How fast can a Windgoo go?

The electric bicycle has a motor power of up to 250 watts and offers pedal assistance up to a maximum of 25 km/h.

I'd like to insure the Windgoo. The insurer asked for the frame number. Where can we find this number?

The frame number can be found on all e-bike models. It's usually located at the front, just above the fork. If you can't find your frame number, please contact us at contact@windgoofun.com . We'll let you know the location for each Windgoo model.
